Quarry Substation

Quarry substation project was a reliability upgrade to an old and outdated substation. The upgrade was extensive and all completed while the substation remained energized. To date it remains one of the most challenging and rewarding projects we've ever completed.

Quarry substation was an enrgized station that threw almost all challenges a foundation contractor can face at us. The scheduled demanded that three drill rigs be mobilized and drill 24 hours a day for the entire project. Slurry had to be used on the deepest shafts and we even had to drill through abandond train track that was burried deep underground. Not to mention that the site was energized almost the entire time. Its truely a feather in J.H.Hassingers cap.
